Evol is a slightly abnormal Enderman (heterochromia is practically unheard of for his species) living in a slightly abnormal village (normally villages have villagers, not monsters). Despite this, he lives a fairly normal life with his best friend Brutus the Piglin. But when they find an injured villager in a cave, Evol's normal life is interrupted by a quest to find a god long thought to be gone forever.

Everyone on the DreamSMP had a 'hybrid' animal counterpart that was merged with their DNA. Ranboo the Enderman, and Technoblade the Piglin, to name a couple. To everyone, Dream was the only one without a hybrid. He banned the End so no-one could kill the dragon. A hybrid is easy to spot, as they usually have body parts that correspond to their mob, which cannot be safely removed, though many have tried.
