How would God respond to making a mistake? Would planets collide or mountains slide into the sea? Or would the ledger of all life simply remain out kilter until a series of small events forced that ledger back into balance again? It's probably the latter. After all, you don't want to call attention to your mistakes if you're an all-powerful being.

In the drowning at Los Gatos, two children find themselves in circumstances where death is likely. The first child has fallen down an abandoned well and the second is in a plane that is about to crash. God must choose which child will live, which will die, and hope that no mistake is made.  

It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. First, we are here and then we are not.All Rights Reserved

Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Quite interesting. And because of this... "something worth delving deeper into," I have decided to continue the story with a PART TWO! Though that will have to wait until after Exile. Or maybe when I get tired of Exile and hope to continue this again. But either way, there WILL be a part two for those who want more zoophilia. Cheers! 03/31/14 (again, in the dd/mm/yy order): Added a simple cover. Will be using this until I am able to draw a better image resembling both of the girl's forms. August 6, 2014: New cover. Well north of Baltimore, a group stray cats calls out to the youngest Quisling daughter. The cats are the last survivors of a town that was flooded to make way for a dam that gave water and life to the once great city. Do you hear them? Do you? On that same morning, the Quislings of Baltimore are preparing for a funeral. John Quisling, his wife Mary, and their three surviving daughters reflect on what outfits to wear, whether veils are appropriate, which type of flower expresses grief better than all others, and whether brown shoes can be polished black to reflect the somberness of the occasion. Each has a To Do List to keep the day moving forward. Each checks-off tasks as they are completed. Throughout their lives, the Quislings of Baltimore had ordinary jobs, yielding ordinary means, and they lived in ordinary times. The only extraordinary aspect of their story was the odd coincidence that nearly every event of any importance in their lives occurred in the month of May - the month of false hope. May I? Maybe. May not.

"I don't have terrible problems, and I know my life isn't bad like other people's", I added. "But it's as if I'm half and half", I shrugged. "Half satisfied, half disappointed, half happy, half sad". "I know it's silly though", I corrected myself while sitting up and shaking my head. "I know I don't have the right to say I feel-". "You don't have to be miserable to have depression", Matthew cut in while looking into the horizon. "You don't have to be poor, or unloved, or even bullied to feel like you're losing all hope", he added. Looking right ahead, he placed his hand on the water and threw some ahead, creating a 'splash' sound that interrupted our quietness. "You don't need water to feel like you're drowning", he pointed while looking at me with an intense look, as if begging me to understand and take my words back. "Never apologize for your feelings", he continued while moving a bit closer to me. "They are there for a reason".

"You're unbearable!" He kicks her with utter contempt. "Please tell me where I'm wrong, causing you discomfort was not my intention," she said crying, causing him to hit her against the ground again. "Do you think you can live with good intentions? Didn't you have all the time you wanted to change and learn? You still dare to ask for more!" He yells at her with hatred, he blamed her for being the one will cause a woman to be beaten; He didn't want to be that kind of man. However, what he lived with her caused him to bring out what he hated the most about himself from within. -Forget it love- said a woman who was next to her- it's not worth it- this dog was supposed to be her friend, she was supposed to support her just like she did; however he managed so that he and she hated each other and thus be able to steal it. The woman on the floor does not know how much she was framed and harmed by her naivety, nor did she know that this was the beginning of her misfortunes. Because of that woman she did not stop suffering, wherever she went she suffered verbal or physical abuse and everything was orchestrated by this woman; she didn't know until she was about to faint. "Why?" She asked this unarmed woman without knowing why she hated him so much. She never did anything to hurt him. She just laughed viciously without answering him, she didn't have to waste her time with an insect; leaving La to die imprisoned in the house where she was kidnapped. "Answer me!" She got up from her bed screaming "Eh? This looks like my room; Did I reincarnate myself in the past?" She ran to the bathroom just to see that her assumption was correct. She thanked the heavens for this second chance by promising that she wouldn't be fooled a second time.

If you're like me, you probably wonder where all the good bowling stories have been hiding. You imagine all those dramatic moments where the pins are impossibly far apart, and it seems that no god or human could ever knock them all over at once. And yet, we are both romantics, you and I. We hold onto the belief that if we think hard enough and dream deeply enough, every pin will fall. That is our personal (bowling) fairy tale. While it may be impossible, it is good enough for us. Good enough to bring faith to the faithless, hope to the hopeless, and charity to the forgotten.

The Lost Life of Laraine by BearGoRawr

She lead a rather tragic life. The black sheep of her family due to her lack of affinity for fire. Her affinity was quite the opposite. Water in fact. Already in a time when women did not really have much political power or rights, she was outcasted by her family despite being of nobility. Still allowed to live in the distant west wing of the massive Grand Duke's manor, she has never eaten a single meal with her family nor extended family, and has spent her loneliness in her books and sword lessons. Although only taught by the head butler and one of the low ranked knights of the family, she was quite bright and if her family would have given her a chance she would have done great things. If only she didn't die at such a young age. Married off to some "hero" of sort that had slayed the Dragon of the North who was terrorizing the land and threatened the kingdom, this hero also had an affinity for fire and held her in disdain like the rest of her family. Suddenly a girl of another world was transported to their world, picked up by this hero and put into his secure care. The pair soon fell for each other despite the hero's marriage, and many believed Laraine got jealous of this girl of mystery, and tried to kill her. This was definitely not true. But because the girl was favored by the temple and kingdom Laraine was quickly arrested and put on trial. You can probably tell what happened to Laraine. But something strange happened the day of her execution. As soon as her decapitated head hit the ground the sky turned blood red and it began to rain fire. No one survived that day. But for some reason time went back, and Laraine was back to being a child, but with no memory of her future. There were select few in her life, however, that remembered her tragedy and now perhaps will take action to prevent it. NOTE: I'M AWARE THERE ARE A LOT OF INCONSISTENCIES. IT WILL BE EDITED SOME DAY BUT RIGHT NOW I'M JUST TRYING TO FINISH IT.

"Do you think we're soul mates?" She asked, lifting her head in order to lock eyes with him. It took him a moment, mustering up his answer. Thinking about how they were so alike, but so different. How they had been through similar things and had the same outlooks on certain perspectives in life. The connection that they shared. It was like she was made specifically for him. No one would ever be able to hold a candle to her and the way she made him feel. She was his person, and he was hers. "To be honest...yeah." He replied, wrapping his arm around her. --- Knucks is a misunderstood teenage girl, deemed as destructive to the society with her reoccurring outbursts and rebellious behavior. Anger fuels her defiant spirit but beneath her exterior, lies a vulnerable girl searching high and low for someone to help her through a time of crisis. Bones quiet and reserved, has nothing but a hard exterior looking from the outside in, when in reality he is just an innocent boy. He's fighting to keep his head above the water also known as life, that is trying its hardest to submerge and break him down mentally. When the two teenagers find themselves in an environment far away from home with others just like them, it leaves both of them separately hopeless about the outcomes of their future lives. One night upon meeting each other, one felt as if they had nothing to live for anymore, while the other felt the same way only holding a different meaning a sense.The night bringing them closer than ever eventually has to come to an end. It's up to the two of them to carry out the strange but alluring connection made with each other, or leave it in the night they met.
