Beatrice Oaks has been chosen as one of the 25 most suitable women in Bloodbath to have a chance at a courtship with his Grace, Rupert Bloodington, and a possible marriage. Any other girl would be terrified, mortified at the thought of undergoing the imfamous Blood Ball in order to even gain the courtship. Much like her sister, Blair, who has also been chosen. But not Beatrice, in fact, she could care less about the courtship. Her eyes are on a much bigger prize: being recruited for the Blood Army. Sure, she knows no one has ever recruited from the games, but she'd be happy to be the first to go down in history-that is, if she isn't taken down by her fellow competitors first. Or her guard down for a certain Prince with bloodshot red eyes and-like her, has a different reason for participating in the games above receiving a courtship. Or will she let her sister down by breaking a speacil bond through her cutthroat tactics?
