Can dreams come true

Sky has never truly been able to make friends, he's always been alone, his adoptive family got him when he was 8 but quickly lost interest, in the now 5'6 blue cat, now age 17, 3 months after his birthday, where, he meets Harper, a energetic and carefree husky, with beautiful black fur, pads of white randomly strewn around. Sky attempts at this point to ignore him but this energetic husky seems almost intent on bringing his walls down at what Sky considers the worst timing possible.

Harper just moved here and is finally starting school at this new school, he has always tried to look on life in the best way possible, he's been very open about who he is his whole life, he's known he was gay, he was fine with still never having had his first kiss, and was a guy who while coming off as annoying at times, even he knew this, was wanting to be friends with everyone, but there's this one blue cat who keeps catching his eye, inside those eyes of no emotion, he can see... Sadness.. And oddly enough he's drawn to him, not wanting to see those emotions in his eyes, what is it that has him genuinely wanting to help this lost little cat...
