Kawamura Yuki is the daughter of a Soul Reaper and a Rukongai commoner. She lived in Hachikuchi with her twin, Yuri, peacefully and happily. Until one day, when Seireitei messengers brought back her father's Lieutenant badge and announced him KIA.
Ever since, her mother's condition kept deteriorating without the former support. And so, Yuki & Yuri decided to become Soul Reapers, but for completely different reasons.

Follow along as Yuki slowly discovers the secrets of Soul Society and gradually the truth about her father, all while attempting to balance her normal duties and a bothersome crush on one of the captains.
