She comes to realize the world isnt as unforgiving and cold as it seems. She's saved by a native who dislikes humans as much as the next guy but shes intent on sticking by his side in order to survive. A coming of age tale that follows Adrian as he is engrossed in his life at home his books. A 12-year-old boy that has not seen the world and wants adventure but does not dare step out the door, instead of spends his time alone, often with his dog and reads a lot. Along came his Grandpa that saw this adventurous spark in him. After setting a challenge for Adrian to prove himself he takes him on his first adventure out of the house and to Moon to help him hunt cheese with Grandpa, along with Woody, their dog. But they are on a race against time, and against nature, to get back home in time for his 13th birthday party as his parents do not fully agree with him stepping outside of the house and going on dangerous adventures. "Travel is for troublemakers" he was always told. It is a mix of Rick and Morty in a sense of character dynamics, different locations and tools used, but without the profanity. As well as a mixture of TinTin and his adventures as well as having a dog as a companion. It is also partially inspired by H.G Wells' 1901 novel 'The First Men in the Moon'. The first novel that I ever started writing. I started it in December 2019 so the title and cover are not finalised and are still in progress. ***This is the first edit after having written the draft, it is a long way from being completed or ready and I will do another revision and add more aspects of the story**

Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. But after consideration, they don't see the harm in sending one. And realise it might be their only chance.

Chris is a young man trapped in a cruel, fragmented loop of his own past. The time-space continuum he inhabits is frozen in an endless replay of the worst day of his life: the day all his friends perished during a devastating war. Haunted by their absence and his inability to protect them, Chris is burdened with an extraordinary goal-to alter the course of events and save his friends from their tragic fates. However, the universe has placed a steep price on his mission. Each time he fails to change the outcome, he is forced to relive the day from its beginning. The monotony and despair of the loop gnaw at his spirit, but Chris refuses to give up. Driven by a mix of guilt, love, and hope, he dives into each reset with the determination to make things right. Complicating his journey are the monstrous entities that lurk within the cracks of this warped reality. Alien-like beings, formed from the chaos of the disrupted timeline, roam the remnants of his world. These creatures embody his fears, regrets, and unresolved grief, forcing him to confront not only his mission but also himself. Chris's path is fraught with danger, heartbreak, and the weight of countless failures. Yet, with each attempt, he uncovers fragments of the truth-about the war, the origins of the monsters, and his own role in the events that led to this nightmare. As time pushes back against him, Chris must decide how far he's willing to go and what sacrifices he's prepared to make to rewrite the past and secure a future for those he holds dear. Every step forward is a battle against time, the monsters, and his own doubts, but Chris knows that even the smallest victory could be the key to breaking free from the loop-and saving the people he loves most.

Survival in space was our only option. The dying earth and its sickly inhabitants forced us to flee to the stars. My father, the commander of the elite group chosen to live amongst the stars, brought me along for the journey. And everything was going smoothly until I unexpectedly woke up on a new planet, one with an ethereal glow and an eerie resemblance to our old home as the commander of the military space force, my father tasked his men with exploring this new world. But what they discovered was far from welcoming. This new planet was already inhabited by terrifying creatures, and they were not happy with our presence. His men fought to survive against these beasts, I couldn't help but wonder why they were so hostile towards us. That's when one of them approached me, defying everything we had been warned about. Instead of attacking, it watched me pick flowers before later saving me from a fiery blast. Now it's my turn to save him. Please read the prologue in the beginning before going to Chapter 1. Sarina Earth is past saving, but to save the human race, six ships leave the planet to start over. When one of the ships is forced to do an emergency landing on a planet triple Earth's size, we are taken hostage in a Giant's castle and then sold. Although they feed us, I'm not fooled. Everything about them is designed to kill, so it's only a matter of time. Even if I have to do it on my own, I will find my way back to the ship that brought us here and leave this planet. Tarvik Getting called into an emergency meeting isn't how I would choose to spend the afternoon, but as Commander, I'm obligated to attend. Small beings landed on our planet, and per my king's orders- We're keeping them. My people are excited to have new pet types- cute ones at that- but I suspect they're capable of more than my king believes.
