THE DELUSION OF ALIENS

A young man invents a time machine and travels forward through time. There he will meet new creatures, friends, enemies, and learn some lessons.

Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. But after consideration, they don't see the harm in sending one. And realise it might be their only chance.

A thief takes something that turns out to be something really bad from the past.

Chris is a young man trapped in a cruel, fragmented loop of his own past. The time-space continuum he inhabits is frozen in an endless replay of the worst day of his life: the day all his friends perished during a devastating war. Haunted by their absence and his inability to protect them, Chris is burdened with an extraordinary goal-to alter the course of events and save his friends from their tragic fates. However, the universe has placed a steep price on his mission. Each time he fails to change the outcome, he is forced to relive the day from its beginning. The monotony and despair of the loop gnaw at his spirit, but Chris refuses to give up. Driven by a mix of guilt, love, and hope, he dives into each reset with the determination to make things right. Complicating his journey are the monstrous entities that lurk within the cracks of this warped reality. Alien-like beings, formed from the chaos of the disrupted timeline, roam the remnants of his world. Their sole purpose seems to be to hinder Chris, slowing his progress and testing his resolve at every turn. These creatures embody his fears, regrets, and unresolved grief, forcing him to confront not only his mission but also himself. Chris's path is fraught with danger, heartbreak, and the weight of countless failures. Yet, with each attempt, he uncovers fragments of the truth-about the war, the origins of the monsters, and his own role in the events that led to this nightmare. As time pushes back against him, Chris must decide how far he's willing to go and what sacrifices he's prepared to make to rewrite the past and secure a future for those he holds dear. Every step forward is a battle against time, the monsters, and his own doubts, but Chris knows that even the smallest victory could be the key to breaking free from the loop-and saving the people he loves most.

This person took her in and treated her as his own daughter. After a DNA test she has found a family that yes is different from other families but she was a test tube baby. As she enjoys her new home and family she gets kidnapped. She taken back to her first home where they test and harm her. She finds others like her and promises that they will all get out. She promised and she plans on keeping that promise.

A coming of age tale that follows Adrian as he is engrossed in his life at home his books. A 12-year-old boy that has not seen the world and wants adventure but does not dare step out the door, instead of spends his time alone, often with his dog and reads a lot. Along came his Grandpa that saw this adventurous spark in him. After setting a challenge for Adrian to prove himself he takes him on his first adventure out of the house and to Moon to help him hunt cheese with Grandpa, along with Woody, their dog. But they are on a race against time, and against nature, to get back home in time for his 13th birthday party as his parents do not fully agree with him stepping outside of the house and going on dangerous adventures. "Travel is for troublemakers" he was always told. It is a mix of Rick and Morty in a sense of character dynamics, different locations and tools used, but without the profanity. As well as a mixture of TinTin and his adventures as well as having a dog as a companion. It is also partially inspired by H.G Wells' 1901 novel 'The First Men in the Moon'. The first novel that I ever started writing. I started it in December 2019 so the title and cover are not finalised and are still in progress. ***This is the first edit after having written the draft, it is a long way from being completed or ready and I will do another revision and add more aspects of the story**

2183, seventy six years after the happenings on The Covenant. The Covenant has been drifting in space all that time. All of the crew were in cryotubes, to keep them alive. A salvage vessel finds the Covenant with the crew inside, they're taken to Gateway Station. After that, a military operation is put into effect. They have to go save colonists from the Xenomorphs. There's absolutely no research on the aliens. Nobody knows anything about them, except the crew of the Covenant, and Ellen Ripley. MUST READ WORLDS BEFORE READING ALIENS
