For the growing resistance has finally managed to recruit the greatest criminals of the 26th century to spark the beginning of the greatest rebellion in human history. Unfortunately for them, the 'greatest criminals of the 26th century' are teenagers. And even in this day and age, teenagers still bring their insecurities and petty rivalries with them, wherever they go. So, this is the question: can this team of misfit criminals bring a golden age of peace? Or will they set the world on fire for the fourth time?

Meaning the rich schools usually were able to afford the best tech while middle and low class schools had to settle for hand-me-downs or worse. Kevin McNamara is an autistic senior in the backwater high school of Monarca High, Monarca, California. He will join the "Monarca Kestrels" fire flight squadron and fill the spot of Kristopher Kestrel, who tragically died in an aircraft collision earlier in the year. He will have to get antiquated with his teammates who are still recovering from Kristopher's death. As a flight of three jets, all of which are relics of the distant past, they will have to work together as they fight above their weight class in almost every match they enter.
