Poisoned Love

I always thought of love as something I cherished, as a little girl love was my world. From Cinderella to Rapunzel I watched them meet the one they loved, A prince, a theft, a soldier. I watched them have their perfect love story, and I wanted mine.

I just didn't expect my love story to be led by a piece of paper and a Mafia Don. Not the typical princess meets prince love story. No, this was far from.

Love was the thing he yearned as a child, something he begged and pleaded for but not once was it given to him. He learned to avoid it. He learned to hate it, lock it away deep within him, until she disrupted the endless, repeating line.
She was the love he never got. She was everything he hated, while also needed at the same time.
