A mafia brothers story where the mother is still alive:

Ilaria Pallante was stolen at three years old and raised by a woman who wasn't her mother.

For years, her life felt normal, until it wasn't. By the time she turned ten, the warmth she once knew turned cold, replaced by control, cruelty, and isolation. She stopped asking questions. She stopped believing there was anything else.

Then, everything changes. After the woman who raised her is arrested, a DNA test reveals the truth: Ilaria was never lost. She was taken from a powerful family who never stopped looking for her.

Now, at fourteen, she's thrown back into a world of wealth, family, and dangerous secrets she doesn't remember.

They tell her she's home.

But finding her way back to the people who love her might be harder than anyone expected, especially when she's not sure she knows herself at all.

Kendall Rossi isn't your average thirteen-year-old girl. At the young age of five her brothers dropped her off at an old orphanage which they claimed would be way safer and more practical than living with them and their Italian mafia problems. That wasn't the case. For years Kendall was switching from foster family to foster family. Some were sweet, some just needed the cash, and some had awful intentions. Like Gaston Tremblay, her current foster father. A couple years after the Rossi brothers left Kendall, they realized how much they craved and needed the little girl's bubbly and joyful personality in their life. They spent three full years trying to find Kendall but there was no trace of her. They eventually gave up and adopted a little girl around the age of eleven who would have been two years older than Kendall at the time. May, the little girl did help tie the broken family together, but it still wasn't the same, but they learned to cope and almost fully erased Kendall out of their lives. Until Alessandro Rossi the eldest of the brothers received a shocking phone call that would soon change their lives.
