25 years after The Great Ending. 13 years after the Wipeout. The crisp yellow sun sat over the remains of what was once New York City, the vibrant shades of warm oranges and reds painting the sky, a memory of the billions of people lost due to the plague. Feral cats and dogs hunted the streets for any sign of human life, as they were starving and willing to do anything to feed themselves.

The Survivors, joining together 2 years after The Wipeout, trying to return the human population to its former glory. They failed 4 months in.

The Communicators, joining together 3 days after the survivors fell in an attempt to contact the people left in the other countries. They went missing a week after they united.

And The Loners, who were left of the ruins of the United states. Nobody knew each other, not even parents. Nobody knew who was alive and who wasn't. You could be laughing with someone, and the next day they could be gone into the broken Earth. Nobody even agreed to the name The Loners, they just needed some title to hold onto. It was more or less a mutual agreement.

Though life wasn't always a struggle to survive.

Europa : a mother struggling to keep her and her daughter sane while the world was contained
Amara : a daughter trying to restrain her curious mind and break free from her cruel family
Enceladus : a Loner on the hunt for the mysteries of the past and present to find out what really destroyed planet Earth
