After living a picture-perfect life for a long time, things start to go downhill for Liv Brooks after her parents are separated. To take a break from everything, she decides to spend her summer in a small beach town called Orcalore with her dad.

Only the peace and quiet she was expecting was interrupted by the annoyingly charming Cole Clark. He got on her nerves because he was everything she didn't want to be. And worst of all, he brought out a side of her she didn't recognize herself.

But can she avoid him for 10 whole weeks when he is the son of her dad's best friend? Probably not. As the summer unfolds, Liv finds herself torn between her desire to keep Cole at arm's length and the undeniable pull she feels towards him. Despite her best efforts to resist, she can't help but be drawn into his orbit, and soon finds herself falling for him in ways she never thought possible.
