Rianna was a regular preteen girl, obsessed with a book series about cats and their clans. The only problem with this is that it decides her involvement in a prophecy about her and her friends. Now a warrior herself, she must make wise choices, or face the destruction of the four newly formed Clans altogether. Can she fulfill the prophecy foretold by her ancestors?

With leaf-bare creeping up, the Clans are preparing for the harsh weather. Preparing for another season should be like gathering moss for the elders, but not this time. This time, the Clans are struggling just to assemble a hunting patrol and maintain borders. Forcing time out of daily tasks is asking the impossible. Leaf-bare is going to take the remaining lives of the cats that are lucky enough to even make it through leaf-fall.
