Severus slowly opened his eyes as the burning sensation left his mouth. Severus grabbed her wrist as the woman was about to leave.

"Tell me your name.", Severus said.

The woman slowly flutters her fingers in the air and magically, a white rose appeared. The woman gave Severus the flower and looked directly in his eyes, smiling at him. Severus was mesmerized as he saw her beautiful smile and wasn't able to grasp her again as she hurriedly apparated away. 

Severus looked at the flower, 

"Rose?"

This book is now available through Amazon and kindle! It was definitely a process getting it published, but my parents wanted me to accomplish this before they passed away, so no regrets. I wish I could work on it again, maybe add layers. It starts off a little heavy on the "romance", and then I think it finds its own groove, but overall I'm happy with the final product.
