Before The Calamity Happens
Following Link and Zeldas relationship before the calamity. It all started when they first met at twelve years old. They started out rough but eventually their friendship grew into much more. Short Tempered - Zelink Modern AU
Link was a bit of a problem child when he first started school, all he ever knew was the kindness from his best and only friend, so when faced with other nastier people their age, he didn't react too well. Skip forward a couple years and he's improved. Expressing his feelings however didn't come so naturally to him, so he decided to just... Go for it, in an extremely weird way, and just expect her to get it. He wanted to be nice to people, so he just accepted everything and went with what the other person desired. Hyrule has been restored to a blissful state, but danger lurks between the shadows. Of wanting bloodshed strewn across Hyrule. Will the Queen of Hyrule lose more loved ones through pain and blood? Hyrule will never see such slaughter with corrupting hell of the Yiga warriors overtaking this land blessed by the goddesses themselves now soon to be showered blood by a manifestation of a force matching Demise's. [Under Rewriting] Succeeding the events of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Link and Zelda descend from the clouds begin their lives in marriage. They continue to discover the wonders of the Surface, but obstacles from their shared past weigh their hearts and hinder their intimate desires. As I write, my innocent mind grows as much as Link and Zelda's relationship does. Instead of being afraid to share these, I proceed to look upon this as sharing my growth as a writer and a huge release of my secret world unto you, dear reader. I'm in the process of completely transforming this into a better story that feels like it's actually from a Zelda game and including musical and visual media so you see it how I do. Time has passed. Hyrule is getting rebuilt. Zelda on the other hand is not quite sure what to do. She is no longer a princess, She's a queen with responsibilities. A dark force is looming. (This story is rated Mature because SA will be mentioned along with some suggestive language and content.) --- Zelda and her Father, Mayor Rhoam, live in a giant mansion in the middle of Hyrule. Zelda is entering her senior year of high school and is preparing to move on to her college life. She does love school, and she hates when people distract her from her school work. Her high school, Hyrule High, is the only high school throughout Hyrule, so every teen across Hyrule goes there. In her free time, she likes to read and spend time with her best friends, Impa and Purah. She doesn't have that many friends, but who knows, maybe she'll find some new ones, and maybe someone who's more than a friend. ;) But enough explaining, Let's Dive Into The Story!! Hope you guys enjoy!! :) 💜 I will post new chapters when ever I can (so please be patient), and if you have suggestions about what could happen, just let me know in the comments. "Princess!" he yelled after her. "Where are you going?" "Back to the castle," she replied without stopping. "Not by yourself you're not!" "I'm sorry,"-she whipped around-"I didn't realize you were my father?" "Your father, the king, would execute me for letting you travel by yourself." "Oh, so this is about self-preservation?" "Yes. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness." Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. "And by the looks of it, you're not equipped to handle that." She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?" Calamity is upon Hyrule. The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. (Editing/Rewriting) Set in the time of Twilight Princess. Not in the same Plot. Rated T (Teen) for Strong Language Link and Zelda, miles apart in stature as the Knight and the Princess, but that didn't stop them from falling for each other. But what happens when reality strikes and one fatal mistake splits them, seemingly forever. 7 years later, while Hyrule is at War with the Gerudo, fate unites them again, albeit they aren't the same as they used to be.
