Zelda knows many things. This story isn't about those. Cooking, fighting, rock climbing, looking like someone else... These are all things Zelda wishes she knew, but doesn't. Maybe Link can teach her. Maybe she can teach him something, too. This post-calamity fanfiction contains five short stories of Link's attempts to show Zelda basic life skills (or at least, what he thinks are basic life skills.) The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe. Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage. This is a story of finding what lies within. Time has passed. Hyrule is getting rebuilt. Zelda on the other hand is not quite sure what to do. She is no longer a princess, She's a queen with responsibilities. A dark force is looming. Old friends are getting rediscovered but that boy. That man. Link. There's an unfinished story with him. This is my take on the universe. There will be new characters that aren't canon. There will be a few POV swaps but let's see if I can make this a cohesive story.

When Zelda is forced to marry a tyrant that would bring her country to ruin, she lashes out at her new husband. The new King plots against her so he can have the kingdom and the Triforce for himself but Zelda has many friends in Hyrule. She must leave Hyrule Castle, her home, with no one but a knight at her side. She leaves with a promise, a promise to return some day, an army at her side and retake her kingdom, liberating her subjects from the King's tyranny. This is a Zelink story but I doubt it will be as good as my first Zelink story, 'A Princess Problem' but let's give it a try. I love feedback so comment on anything and everything, and correct me if you think I'm wrong. Be warned, there maybe smut but it is minimal. #1 Zelink OH MY HYLIA! THANKS!
