Velvet and Veneer. Their names forever written in the skies of Mount Rageous. Known for their fame, music...and fraud. The twins have served their time in prison, or what is known as the "Rageous Detention Center for Troubled Youth". It is soon discovered that the twins are now from the upper city...but from a city below the cloud line...a cyberpunk, dystopian city known as Under Rageous. A city with hardly any laws....and a wide range of Rageon subspecies. They are sent back much to their distaste. Upon their arrival, the twins found out they are being hunted...the hunt only grows as they are revealed to be the children of the most notorious mafia lord of the under-city, Vaughn Montegue. You're the first troll for them to use as trail and error the talent extraction process... || I absolutely adore Floyd as a character and I always find it so difficult to find x reader stories that aren't fem oriented </3 (nothing wrong with that! I just personally can't read them comfortably) so I wanted to make a gender neutral one so everyone can read comfortably. If I ever mess up w prns pls lmk, I am used to using he/they as descriptors so if I accidentally use he call me out! π Clearly I do not own any of the Trolls movies or characters, that goes to Dreamworks! COVER IS BY KAY_OFFICIAL ON INSTAGRAM THIS IS NOT MY ART This is an AU where Velvet and Veneer have actual talent. They start off as just kids that like singing. Slowly, they become the most famous singers in all of Mount Rageous. They're also not teenagers in the later chapters. I'll say when. This one is kind of graphic. There's a lot more angst in this. Also, Veneer and Velvet's parents aren't dead like in my other fanfic. Veneer is the more likable twin of the two. He was bullied by a small group of kids though. They were just always jealous that the teachers liked him. He was always the "teachers pet." Veneer never disrespected the teachers. He just never liked being mean for no reason. Was pretty shy as a kid. Now that he's older, he's got some sass, due to his sister. He loves cooking and gardening with his mother. His father doesn't love him that much because he's more "girly" than most guys. Velvet, the less likable twin. She has quite a few friends. Of course, she brings Veneer along with her. She doesn't want her brother to be alone. She would never let anyone hurt her brother. She was a horrible singer until she started getting classes. She's a spoiled brat but loving to her brother. She absolutely hates her mother. She was always the pretty twin. She was a model ever since she was young. Kid Ritz was more of a loner. He never had any true friends. He had one that did awful things to him when he was younger and vulnerable. He loved playing the Cello. He also loves talking to others, not for very long though usually. He's never really had anyone to help him when he struggled in school. No one to cry on or rely on. He's also always loved reading. He just goes to a whole other world whenever he reads. That's the only he can really escape from all the negativity around him. Also, this will have mentions of SH, abuse, bullying, sexual things, groping, underage drinking, sexual abuse, neglect, substance abuse, and heavy drinking.Complete
