Terrified of ever getting involved with a boy again, Ruby returns home with a locked heart. But when she begins at Bluebell, she finds herself torn between three boys: Nate, Asa, and Carson.
Nate is everything her mother would disapprove of. He's cool, handsome and bad. Meanwhile, Asa is the picture-perfect football player. Before she can decide between the two, Carson Zimmerman - the boy from her past, reappears and is determined to get Ruby back in his life at any cost.
