Elara finds a camera at a thrift store, everytime she takes a picture of something it haunts her in her dreams, it makes her become crazy and start to hurt herself and is on the verge of killing herself. Her ex at the time (ethan) has become toxic due to all of her craziness and is making it worse. Elara runs away and stays the night in the city where she runs into Adrian who is going through a crazy ex as well. She tells him all about the camera only to find out that he has experienced it as well. He try's to help her get rid of her nightmares, only to find out that they have a lot in common. They try to sneak each other without their toxic ex's finding out...
