Yet, with the war a decisive coalition victory, only thirteen years later, the United States alongside a new group of allies, being the French Republic, United Kingdom, Federal Republic of Germany, and the Combined Isle Nation would once more find themselves fighting in the familiar sands of Iraq. A certain marine not even out of his twenties finds himself and his colleges around him as the first to enter Iraq as a part of Operation Restore Democracy, just as the marines before him had done only thirteen years ago as a part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. What needs to be done for a better world
Scarred by a cataclysmic meteor strike, humanity struggles to rebuild amidst the wreckage. As civilization begins to take its first tentative steps forward, a bizarre twist of fate unfolds. Animals, exposed to a mysterious chemical agent released by the impact, undergo a radical transformation, gaining humanoid traits while retaining their primal instincts. Communication proves to be a barrier in the early years of their appearance. Humans, fearing for their species, ignited a war for dominance. Yet, as the conflict rages on, it becomes increasingly apparent that the scales are tipping in favor of the evolved animals. Humanity finds itself on the brink of extinction and, recognizing the futility of the conflict, a fragile peace is brokered between the two factions. Yet, despite the truce, tensions remain high. Interactions between what came to be called furries and humans are limited. Both sides bear the scars of the conflict, and conflicts still flare up sporadically, reminding all involved of the fragile balance that hangs over their world.
