Captain 3, agent 8 and agent 4 have been sent out to start a new and punk rock lifestyle in the bustling city of Splatsville! Overcome by colour, emotion and new squirts to keep in check how do they grow their relationships? Marina and Pearls downfall, the squid sisters new employees and the ever growing threat of salmonoids consuming the fuzzy ooze and becoming aquatic mammalian  abominations.

Neo 3 stays in Alterna, attempting restlessly to acquire the elusive bear ears for Marie and Callie, but how will she cope with her only companions arriving in her home town of Splatsville?
