Earth, air, water, fire, light, and dark. These are the six elements that exist within the kingdom of Buidel. It wasn't always this way, though. There was once a seventh element as well. The Aether. In this world, there are conjurers, which were born with the ability to control one of the elements. Long ago, all of the Aetheric conqueres had been wiped out, though, or at least so everyone thought.

That was until Wake Hotoki was discovered.

When the world is in need, he and three of his classmates will have to put their own feelings aside in order to bring back peace. This story is a fully original piece, taking inspiration from shows such as Jujutsu Kaiser, One Piece, and Chainsawman! I will be updating as often as possible, though I will most likely keep a schedule of posting every other day.

this story has also been published by me on AO3.

Yet again Darkness is hungry for a war to end it all, but Light will always have troops at the ready. One girl. One kingdom. Eleven friends. Four Elements. No biggie. * I'm Melody, hybrid freak, nice to meet you, strange muggle who I know nothing about. I used to be like you, cluelessly ignorant and uninvolved with the outside world. You know, they have a big, yellow ball of gas in the sky. Weird. Anyway my life became something out of a bad Si-Fi movie, and no, Nicolas Cage isn't in it (sadly). There are two forces in the world, Light and Darkness, and when you side with Light, Darkness gets a stick up its ass and wants you to suffer. My friends and I, we roll with Light, you must know where that leads.... I have a kingdom to learn, powers to master, loud friends to keep in line, a boy that I'm messed up over, and above it all, Darkness to show whose boss. Not as easy as you might think, but this is MY story, and I know how it ends. Being a loyal follower of Light shows me the beauty in life and the devastation it can cause. Don't get me wrong, I love Light, but Darkness makes it hard to stay and fight. * Melody is weird. She's childish. She's awkward. And she's got boy issues she needs to work out. Mel will face evil like no other, but can she do it? Will the scales of Light and Darkness finally be tipped? How can one girl make a difference? This is Melody, a corky teenager, and she wants you to read her story. Like now. Enjoy! Highest rank- #69 in Fantasy (Still cant believe it!!)

Five Star Reviews for Atlantis Academy: "Omg this book was amazing I couldn't put it down or stop reading. I carried it with me open on my phone while I did everything just to keep reading. I need more of all of this. Epic story, epic content, epic visuals, just epic. LOVE THIS!" "Once I got into this story, I did not stop reading it. This is a beautiful story about a very awkward girl who is riven with so much pain and angst and yet... this makes her who she is and shapes her into the person she will become. The world she finds herself awakened to is magical and yet filled with the all-too-familiar cliques and tribes of the very human people who inhabit it. One word to describe the story: beautiful!" "The story pulls you headlong to the end and leaves you wanting to shout "No! Not yet!" ...If there were 6 stars, I would have given it that." *** Humanity is one secret society away from extinction. The children of Atlantis use magic to keep us safe. If they make it through the Academy. Hi, I'm Lyric. And I'm kind of a mess. ADHD, that's me. I'm a high school drop-out, late everywhere I go, and one screw-up away from being homeless. I'm a loner, and I like it that way. Who needs friends when you have a Redwood forest nearby? Trees never bully me like the kids did at school. Or get drunk and throw things at my head. After my mom died, I figured life couldn't get much worse. I thought it might even get better. Ha. The universe has a great sense of humor. I should've listened to the rumors about evil spirits. About the angry, ancient magical creatures haunting our small Oregon Coast town. But did I? No. That was my first mistake. And it might be my last. 'Cause now I'm in a battle for my life. A whole new world has opened up... a magical world I don't understand. And the blood in my veins says I belong here. But I have to prove myself to save myself. And when have I ever done that?

This story follows the perspectives of multiple different characters. Each chapter will be a different character. Just a warning for the change of POVs. They will all be in first person as well. Angels are from a world they call Alzeria. Inside said world there are 7 types of Angels for each of the elements. Earth, Sky, Storm, Water, Ice, Fire, and Shadow. But inside this world there is a dark and mysterious eighth type of Angel. The Hollows. An almost zombie-like race in the north-east of Alzeria. This is where our story begins. Sky's father, Hermes, went missing a year ago in the Hollow territory. He hasn't been seen since. After the accident, Sky and her best friend Hibiscus, an Earth Angel, were sent with her family to Earth to begin her training and to let the family recover. While on Earth, traces of Hollows become more and more prominant. What are they planning? The next perspective follows the Fire Angel Princess Ashfire, known for her fiery personality and her excellent swordplay. But with shining complements come dark rumors. See, the Royal Family of the Fire Kingdom are known for their golden wings, but Ashfire was born with gold wings with blood red feathers dotting its surface. Ashfire also has a few secrets of her own that could place her and her disfunctional family at risk in the war waging between the Fire Kingdom and the Shadow Kingdom. What will become of her Kingdom? Andromeda is a training Water Mage in the Water Kingdom, trying to recover from past trauma that caused her father's death and an injury to her left arm. Why would she ever be dragged into a war she didn't start? Blitz and her family are known for their powerful Ice Magic that surpasses all other families in the Ice Kingdom. Her parents are strict and after an adventure into the Earth Kingdom, Blitz is trapped in her home. But why would her family want to be so succluded from the outside world? #9 in UTOPIA 3/3/19 I couldn't take my eyes off of Dean as he stared at the glimmering stars in the night sky. "I believe the story of our lives is already written in the stars. Our destiny is already given to us. The end of our lives will always end the same, no matter what we try to do to change it." I watched a strand of his blond hair fall over his ear. "What does that mean?" "It means that if you are the person who is destined to take the two parts of this country and bring them together, then it will happen one way or another." His heterochromia eyes found mine and I found myself entranced by them. "And Mel, by the looks of things right now, I'd say your story has started and you are already working towards your destiny." ** One country. Two nations. After the country split in two, the nations renamed themselves the Ameliorates and the Extricates. The Ameliorates live in a community full of stability and order. Melody Sharpe is the daughter of the Ameliorates' leaders. All her life she was told that the Extricates lived in a place full of chaos and destruction. What happens when she finds herself questioning everything she had once been taught? What does she do when she meets Dean Martin--the son of the Extricate leaders--who tells her that everything she knows is a lie? Why did the Extricates really split away from the Ameliorates? Why do the Extricates fear the Ameliorates more than anything else? Are the Extricates really the "bad" side? Melody starts asking questions--something she isn't supposed to do--and it might just lead her into the middle of a war.

"None of this makes any sense." "Have you seen our world? Most things don't." **** The small town of Lotus Valley isn't like anywhere else - not for the seven Elements, at least. Most people live their entire lives without even glimpsing the truth. But life in the valley is different for the few who see it for what it really is. When Caeden moves to the valley and discovers he has the power of fire, he knows his life is about to change. But that doesn't make it any easier. Struggling with controlling his new powers, Caeden wonders why he was given such a blazing, uncontrollable burden to bear. When fate reveals that Rowan, his only friend, has secrets too, the combination of their gifts starts to unearth some answers. But it's not enough. Only the Elements - ALL of the Elements - can set things right before a force known as Aether consumes and corrupts the entire valley. Caeden and Rowan and all of the others have no choice but to call upon something powerful and dangerous - the very thing they're fighting against - to save their extraordinary home. **I own the characters, ideas, and plot line of this series.
