At first, he thought that he just wanted to take good care of her because he pity her, until he realized that he cared because he loved her. But he decided to just be a friend who would always be by her side, afraid to think that he might lose her if he confess his love and admiration for her. But, everyone can loss a friend.

Cadence 'Cad' Smith. He is the most popular student at Cameron University, he is the team captain of the basketball team. Rich, handsome, talented, campus crush but tagged as womanhater. Many girls in Cameron wanted to date him or even talk to him. He was in his senior year of high school when he first met Dahlia Kimarie 'Kim' Ferros, Cameron's Miss Perfect and the team captain of the Volleyball team. It's the first day of class at Cameron University when Cad and his friends are in the locker area and Cad finds out that there are many letters, chocolates and gifts in his locker. He's on the way to throw all the letters when he sees Kim and her friends laughing, and she even smiles at him. Cad felt new things for the first time. The next thing he knew, he was head over heels with her.

Cad chose to be friends with Kim rather than confess his admiration for some reason. He is already satisfied. He is happy to be with her. He takes care of her. But secrets, lies and truth will get in the way and will try to ruin their friendship. Will Cad soon confess his feelings towards Kim or will he accept that this time, he lost.
