"Just.. Yanno.. That's ga-" Before Hunter could finish his sentence, Alex had picked up a throwing knife that was stuck in the surface of his desk and sent it Hunter's way. The tip of the knife flies into the wooden door frame, mere inches from Hunter's head, and splits the wood open. WASPy Hunter stumbles back with a horrified expression.
"What was that, Hunter?" Alex asked, expression and tone still eerily calm.
"Nothin'!" Hunter scrambled to choke out before mumbling something like "IthinkLiamcalledmeIhavetogo" and running away, closing the door behind him.
