Religion believed it could cure the wildness of the west. The Priest of Red Hawk, a town in the middle of the Great Plains, had three children. The second born of the name, Isaiah, has one last chance to prove himself. His older brother will be the successor of the church, so he must find another calling, as long as it is appropriate for a man of his status and Godly. This choice will forever change the course of Isaiah's life, throwing him into a shocking world of friendship, love, and tragedy.

(The image does not belong to me! To any people who have already read it, I decided to change the picture!) *I wrote this book when I was in middle school so please understand that this book is NOT a great representation queer people. It could be deeply improved and if you're looking for something well written this is not the best place to look. Regardless, if you choose to read, please enjoy :)* Isaiah Harden has everything. Everyone loves him, he's extremely smart, he's nice, and is the son of the pastor of The Friendly Neighborhood Church. But to Jayden Brooks? Well, to him, he thinks Isaiah is just a preppy kid who gets everything he wants and looks down upon everyone. Their parents want the boys to be friends. Jayden absolutely refuses to spend time with Isaiah and get to know him. Will Jayden ever open up to Isaiah and realize that his life isn't all sunshine and rainbows?
