Devil in Disguise

In every story, there's always the hero and the villain. The protagonist and antagonist. Devin just happens to be the villain, and a good one at that. He's got every trick you can imagine up his sleeve. It makes sense. He is one of the world's best con-men, after all.
But then, the unexpectable happens.
He gets caught. Again.
Only this time, he's arrested by none other than Alice, a young cop who has been trying to put him behind bars for years. Her hatred toward him and his line of work holds deep roots. There was no way Alice would let that man escape his long sentence in prison.
However, after much complaint, they are both ordered to work together to catch even more notorious criminals, criminals that plan to do much more than anything the San Diego Police Department has dealt with. But can Alice and Devin do it? Or will those pesky little things called feelings get in the way?
