A group of 5 children, known as the anomalies, are kids who were born with Hyper Crystals, rather than developing them at age 16. These kids are so powerful, that their crystals are dubbed Giga Crystals instead of Hyper Crystals. A man who wants nothing but the power to eliminate all people with Hyper Crystals, and reshape the world in his image, begins hunting done the anomalies. Only the strongest 5 heroes in North America can defeat him... but if they're too slow... he'll be unstoppable.

"I've tried telling them I'm only fifteen. That no sane government would force a boy my age to fight crime. 'But Max, you're a superhero! Isn't this what you want?' Actually, no. I just kind of want to get through high school. Then we'll talk about this 'superhero' business." Max Owens is your average high school sophomore. Well, he tries to be, at least. At fifteen, he's got more important things to do than fight the infamous Vinicus Cauldwell. With his single mother having recently lost her job, Max is determined to help his family get back up on its feet. The publicity and pressure that comes with being a superhero would be too much to handle right now. But it's hard to fly under the radar, when you can literally fly. Meanwhile, Vinicus Cauldwell enjoys the power he has as Murkbourne's most feared super-villain. For once, he can sit back and relax without being pestered by the police. That is, until Max arrives. Newly 21 year old Ayden Slider discovers during his birthday party that weird things are happening to him all at once. Slowly, these powers start manifest. First, is simply mind reading. With practice can grow to be very useful. Second, super speed. Able to get across the map within minutes. Third, telekinesis developed and he's able to move objects with his mind. Fourth, time manipulation occurs. This stage of powers involves more then trait. Fifth, final power is self regeneration. Able to grow back skin cells and basically be invincible. But not quite.
