With an army under his control, it sought to create a new world. The countries and their countless stories... came to an end as the light consumed them. Thus, the world was crushed in its hands. Those who fought the light were devoured, they lost their bodies and became spirits. Only one survived... 
A star of hope twinkles faintly as the dust settles on the world. It copied the fallen, creating empty puppets in their likenesses... Then, it forced the captive spirits to pull their own puppets' strings. This army of puppet fighters spread themselves across the world. Can anyone free the spirits from their control? Is there any hope for the fallen countries? The journey to defeat it begins...

I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. What happens if you teach a being how to use unbridled power, and then take away everything it's learned to care for, turning something pure and gentle into something hateful and cruel? Scientifically speaking, it might be interesting to find out... Such a beast must certainly be helpful in the coming war... One warrior helps to bind both of these threads together with the distant present that must be left alone a while in favor of other times. How does this hero bind the story together? Who are they? That's all anyone's guess, at least for now. What matters is that even far away from Popstar, even apart from the Warrior of the Stars, there are still stars that shine in the Galaxy, stars whose stories are more closely intertwined with his own than we might ever imagine.
