I want to start because I LOOOOOOVVVEEEE the concept, and c'mon. In what world would a writer like me pass up the opportunity to play her own character? I have lots of questions, and I'm sure the community does, too. So this works just like my first open-discussion book: have a question? Comment. Have an answer? Comment. # I will stop publishing my story on wattpad because I'm worried about plagiarism. The world has been destroyed. All that remains is the Ark, and inside it, humans are oppressed by the Eldritch. On the outside, only death awaits thanks to heat so scorching it burns you alive, and cold so chilling, it freezes your retinas in under half a minute. Erin Watts is a 15-year-old human living in the slums of Designated Area No.6. He attends the prestigious Arlington School of Servitude and wants nothing more than having a bright future. Unfortunately, things aren't going his way as of late. His mother, a syred human, is sick and about to die. When she bites the dust, her protection from being syred to an Eldritch master will die with her, leaving Erin unprotected. His school is also starting to suspect he might not come from a wealthy background. And, to top it all off, his Eldritch neighbor wants to rape him and torture him to death. Could it get any worse for him? What can Erin do? How far will he go before he breaks down? Can he beat the system? Will she survive? Will she ever get home? Will this damn cat ever stop causing problems? How long will it be until she even SEES another woman? Please, she is so gay and so, so lonely. ______________________________________ Writing the events of Twisted Wonderland as if I (or at least a version of myself that would actually progress the story) were the main character. CW: Swears (I swear like a sailor), descriptions of violence (describing in-game events; my style gets pretty prosey.) A lot of artistic license/minor worldbuilding/details/etc. Probably no ships; definitely no selfships or MC/OC+Canon ships or whatever you wanna call it. If there are ships, they're gonna be more subtext than anything else. If I go too OOC with ur faves I'm sorry, I'm doing my best but I'm dumb and mostly just try to get the 'vibes' right for each character; also might comedically exaggerate some traits for Shenanigans purposes sometimes. DreamCore and L'Manburg. Two rival kingdoms that break into battle when one sends a threat and attacks the other. Many think L'Manburg has the upper hand in the battle, considering they have The Blade on their side, who knows his way around a sword like the back of his own hand. However, others say DreamCore has the upper hand, because they have the infamous Theseus on their side, who everybody fears. Yes, his name is stolen from Greek mythology, but it suits him quite well. This man is not the best with swords, but he can shoot a mean arrow. Theseus is a strange fellow. Nobody knows what he looks like, for he always wears a mask and a deep red, hooded cape. His outfit consists of his cape, knee-high brown leather boots, black leggings, and a long sleeved red and white shirt. Along with the mask, of course, which is the same color of his cape and has strings of white pearls hanging from the mask. All anybody knows of him is his blonde fluffy hair that peaks from underneath his hood, and his bright blue eyes. And also, his ability to be stupidly fast and slippery. Now back to The Blade. Ah, The Blade, the Blood God, if you will. He's fought with Theseus twice in the past, and Theseus's body language, to him, is a bit...odd. People assume Theseus is at least twenty-five years of age because of his intense fighting skills, but in reality, he's a bit small for that. When you're up close to him, enough to where you can analyze him without getting an arrow through your head, he looks quiet thin for twenty-five. Of course, though, you cannot fight in battles unless you are at least twenty, so The Blade guesses he is just a small guy. As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways. So, given this exercise in mental illness, the topics touched on (in no particular order) in this tale are destruction, death, superpowered wackos, torture, pain, loneliness, chaos, the will to survive, never giving up, giving up and not giving a shit, the desire to protect, failing to protect and causing more trouble than was already present, disappointing and/or abusive parental figures, bullies, unjust punishments, just punishments, racism, violent and usually superpowered fights, sci-fi gadgets, bitterness, sarcasm, twisted and demented comedy, control or lack thereof, weird and awkward high school drama, lies and brainwashing, alien aggression, moral ambiguity, unhinged villains, fantastical weapons, a piece of shit main character, conditional friendship, a fuck load of musical references, anger, fear, depression, extra-dimensional creatures, godly powers, various esoteric connections, pop culture references, and of course, in general, superpowers.مكتمِلة

A young blonde boy wakes up in the middle of the forest. He can't remember how he got there or much about himself either. His name is blank from his mind, and he can't even remember his family. His clothes are torn and dirty, and he wonders what happened. He's not hungry, but he wants a small snack, yet every apple tree and every berry bush he passes doesn't strike his fancy. He eventually makes it to a city. Large buildings are fallen over and the ones still standing have busted out windows and/or have smoke and fire coming from them. He can hear distant screams and yells and gunshots. There are people passing him that are strange. They're badly injured and walk slightly hunched over. Some are missing limbs, and some are missing and eye, or both. They don't even appear to be alive to the boy. They look his way but don't mind him. Tommy is confused and scared. He can slightly remember this place to be his once home, and it makes him upset that's it's gone to such shit, and scared by everyone's screams and the fires and the fighting, and mostly, the fact that some people are eating each other.
