The Power of One Dream (A One Piece x Fairy Tail Story)
The cover is not mine. It belongs to Zaporop10 and I found it on DeviantArt online. This is both a Midquel to my first One Piece story 'Your Heart Will Be Your Guide (A LuffyXNami Story)' and a crossover with one of my other favourite anime: Fairy Tail (because I wanted to imagine them being in the same world, even if they are from separate production companies). The story sees the Straw Hats while on their journey to Laugh Tale arrive in Magnolia in the Kingdom of Fiore, Ishgar. There they befriend the Fairy Tail Guild (set soon after the main events of the anime's Final Season). But are soon met with a new threat, an enemy with a connection to their past, and a much darker scheme. The story is still under editing. WARNING: It will contain some strong language, strong (sometimes bloody) violence (against men and women) and may include adult themes and rude humour. It will also have one instance of religious persecution and mention of suicidal intent, as well as mention of past character death (and present character death (I won't say who though!)). It's not strictly canon and I may get some Japanese terms wrong. Special thanks to all previous FairyTailXOnePiece authors that inspired me to write it! Navigating love, his own demons, and the road to becoming a Pro Hero, will Toya Todoroki be able to prove his father wrong? TL;DR: What if Rei Todoroki saved her eldest child from his accident at Sekoto Peak and he got the Hero Arc he deserved? Disclaimer: a good amount of stuff in this story is fanon and not canon, including but not limited to ages, places, and relationships. This is just my own interpretation and spin on what Toya's life may have looked like. The first chapter just serves as a montage and backstory to set up the story; the format of it is very different than the other chapters. I come back to Fairy Tail, and it's great to see everyone after 1 year of being gone, and what do I miss? Well, a lot!
