When Allie Knight and Alessia Russo met when they were 15, they were immediately attached at the hip, never leaving each other's sides.
Until Alessia went off to the States, that was. But she had promised Allie to come back to Brighton, which she didn't.
As the two women went about their lives separately, they remained friends, Allie went off to Arsenal, they played at National level together. But they were never really them again, never quite the old danger duo they used to be on the pitch. Never quite Allie and Alessia.
Until Alessia came to Arsenal, too.

"This article would be huge, but I couldn't do that to her.. Could I?" Evelyn Sayers was just a plain journalist. Well, plain in her mind. She couldn't care less about the things she wrote about however she needed the money and she was a brilliant writer. She was interviewing players before the 2023/24 WSL season begins, and she meets a new transfer to Arsenal. What will happen when she gets to know the transfer a little better... She wasn't ready for a relationship, she thought they both knew that going in. But life suprises you, in many different ways. I'm not great at descriptions sorry! Read the book though. The songs that I most associate with this book are 'With or without you' By U2 and 'Can't help falling in love' By Elvis! I do not actually ship Alessia and Ella, I just used them for the plot of this story. This is not based on real life, this is purely a story I have made up. ~~~~~ Alessia wishes it could be that easy, for the person who she loves to love her back. To have a happy ending with the girl she loves with all of her heart. She thinks it will never happen, that her best friend is as straight as they come, but what happens when her best friend does some things that don't appear so casual to Alessias eyes.
