Quiet Whispers, Soft Kisses

In the darkness, I can feel a warm pair of lips press themselves to my cheek. Not in an intimate way, but in a comforting way. The lips quickly detach themselves, but I can tell the person is still looming beside me.
After a few moments, I hear a rustle as the person turns to walk away, leaving my heart aching and my body cold. I pull the dark blue duvet up to my neck as I curl myself into a ball.
The person's footsteps are getting softer and softer, the farther away from me they get.
"Connor?" I blurt out into the darkness.
"Yeah, Troye?" He whispers back.
"Will you stay with me?"
