Marius Blake worked all through Highschool to become a doctor. He never had much growing up, just his mother and sister, Hanna. So when he wins a scholarship to Miami sate, he can't pass up on it.

But when he misses the train to Miami, he's left with no other choice but to trust an old man offering a ride on the Marigold.

On this journey, he meets characters who make him question what he really wants in life.
