"They're probably establishing a beachhead to prepare for operations here." "Operations?" I turned over to face Qibli. "To prepare for war, SandWing. These people are here for war." A squad of 101st Airborne, bound for Japan after VE Day, are suddenly and mysteriously wrecked in Pyrrhia, a land of dragons and adventure. Do they have what it takes to survive and get home? What new and strange rules are to be found in this place? Are they able to face down a traitor in their midst? Or will they drag the war to the peaceful inhabitants of this new place, so that it truly engulfs all worlds? Follow Lieutenant Marvin with his ragtag squad of men; and Moonwatcher, a Nightwing with mind-reading and precognition abilities, in the first installment of the Wings of Honor series! This story takes place after the 3rd arc, and has spoilers for the 2nd arc (books 6-10). I wrote this before the end of the 3rd arc, and have therefore taken some artistic liberties. Alrighty then, this is a Winterwatcher story for all of the souls who got crushed at the end of book 10 in Wings of Fire, including mine. Moon is starting to have second thoughts about if choosing Qibli was really the best choice after all. Meanwhile, Winter is living alone in Sanctuary, no friends, a cramped, run-down apartment, and is pretty much broke after his research on scavengers earned him no money. And on top of it all, there's a new super villain on the loose, one more ruthless than Darkstalker ever was, and he won't stand to let anything get in the way of his master plan... when the Jade Winglet reunites once more, will they be able to work together and take down this new threat, or will their attempts mean nothing? Also, this is my first story on Wattpad; I used to hand write stories and show them to my friends, but I wanted to try this out.
