Superman Returns: What it should've been

Superman Returns is a movie that for me starts out with an excellent premise and a great new actor for Superman in the form of Brandon Routh. Sadly, in my opinion the film never quite reaches the potential of its plot. So, with this I hope to present everyone with a version of Superman Returns that keeps to the basic elements of its core story. One: Superman has been gone for five years and thus has to return to an Earth that's moved on without him. Two: this Superman is the same one from the Donnerverse up until the events of Superman Two, so three and four did not happen in this timeline. So, I hope you guys enjoy this little how I would've done it idea that I've put together using my own ideas mixed with some elements from the actual movie and video game tie ins because I'd love to hear everyone's feedback!
