For Miguel, the canon has always been sacred. It doesn't matter if it's moments of pure happiness that any Spider-Man would want to experience or cruel fates that they would rather avoid. He was always there, vigilant, ensuring that everything followed the predestined course.

It sounds again. This time, Miguel understands. This is no ordinary event. It's a different kind of canon event... a romantic one. Luna D'Angelo, a member of the Spider Society, is the key. Winning her heart seemed like an easy task; after all, who wouldn't fall for someone like Miguel?

But things aren't so simple. Miguel's efforts are thwarted by an unexpected rival: Hobie Brown. On top of that, Miguel was incapable of showing affection or connecting with others, let alone with Luna.
