Astarion ascended just like he wanted. Tav helped just like he asked. People change just like they were warned. Fair warning: Ascended Astarion is the villain, Tav frequently disassociates and justifies Astarion's behavior to themselves and the other companions. Domestic violence is implied but not depicted out-right. Verbal abuse is kept to a minimum. Two major characters will die eventually. An alternative epilogue at Withers' party. As she has a new quest and many more to complete, in order to find a healer to get the disgusting worm creature out of not only her head, but also her allies that later become friends. This tale is going to start at the night you discover Astarion is a vampire (spawn). Also these heathens sleep in tents instead of out in the open by a lit fire. Since the game's release, she has been obessed with it and loves creating her own character and playing as a hero or a villian. She even developed a character crush on the pale elf, Astarion. One night, when she was in the middle of playing the game a large tentacle emerged from her TV and dragged her into the video game. She woke up to find herself inside a mind flayer ship and she recieved a tadpole which could turn her into a mind flayer at any given moment. After the ship crashed, (y/n) meets the companions who will accompany her on her journey, including her character crush. Will they be able to find a cure on time before the tadpole turns them into mind flayers? Will (y/n) find a way home after this adventure is over or will she fall for the pale elf and remain by his side? A/n This is my first Baldur's Gate 3 story.

As the Ash Settles
As the Ash Settles, is my take on what happens to the group of companions after saving Baldur's Gate. As the ash settles and the drinks are pouring a familiar sensation washes over our Tav, the very same one that compelled her to attack poor Alfira in her slumber, perhaps defeating her sister was not just denying her father but in fact taking back her rightful spot as leader of the Bhaalspawn, perhaps Withers was indeed wrong. Questions left unanswered while still having to find a special artifact for Astarion to walk and in the sun and still beating heart to fear Karlach. Rated M for Mature.
