"You're really lucky you know." Haymitch sighs, sitting down on the couch with a glass of whiskey in hand. He stares across the room at his victors, Katniss and Peeta gaze back- confused.
"What do you mean?" Asks Katniss.
"Did you really think you'd be the first to fall in love in the worst circumstances? Sorry, pretend to fall in love." He corrects himself, Katniss winces at Peeta's downcast face. "But their love was real." Haymitch sips his alcohol, his blue eyes glassy. The other victors of twelve couldn't tell if it was from a bittersweet nostalgia or just the whiskey. The pair spare a quick moments glance at each other. "I'm just saying you're really lucky."
"What do you mean? There's never been two victors except for us." Haymitch raises a brow towards Peeta, letting the boys words hang in the air. He was right. There's never been two victors except Katniss and Peeta. The star crossed lovers of District 12.
The mentors lack of phrase slowly creeps into both of their brains. Then their hearts, and finally their lungs. Their breathing halts, and the room finds itself in a sudden, silent chill.
"Their names were Valeria Stallard and Evander Bronze of District Two. They didn't make it out alive together. One did though."

We all know the story of the Mockingjay Rebellion. Sixteen year old Katniss Everdeen volunteers for her twelve year old sister for this event called The Hunger Games where twenty four children fight to the death and only one comes out as victor. A boy named Peeta Mellark was reaped alongside her. These two come out of the games as "Starcrossed Lovers". This caused a few uprisings in some districts. President Snow doesn't want another rebellion so he sends Katniss and Peeta back into the games with other Victors from each district. This causes a whole other war and this time, the districts pull out on top. The Hunger Games are ended and Snow is executed and everyone is safe again. Yeah, let's fast foward about fifty years.
