This is the story of how we found out. At first it was just us three, a cold June morning, a hyper maths class, and a beloved teacher. Then, she had to leave, and it was just us three who had the idea that maybe it was not all it seemed. At first it was just us being silly. We made a 'fake' theory, just for fun, and it ended up not just involving her but everyone else who was being suspicious in our eyes. Ha ha. And then, we went to sleep, and didn't speak of it again, but when woke, there were more than the three of us who knew about it. At first it was just a theory, but before the week had ended it had turned into something more. Of course, at first we were skeptical, but not after it became our reality. A reality so true and harsh that at the first signs of disbelief, it had come to bite us, to hunt us down, to try to kill us. And then we had no choice to unrap it, and that was when we found the truth. This is mostly the story of how me and my two best friends, one teacher, and classmates solved the case of the missing maths teacher and saved about a dozen others from their fates. Michael's Ghost Girl
This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them...
