Snow. Her breaths were shallow as she listened. She'd been locked in this tower for nearly twelve full moons- enough! She couldn't take it any longer. Her door opened to view her brother, stripped from all illusion- "Sister" Frost murmured, the same sadness that resonated in her soul reflected in his eyes. They both knew it had to be done- she knew he had to be in the palace to see the wreck their mother was causing after killing their father, incapacitating their grandmother and cursing their people. Seven years of war made them ignorant of the internal wars they didn't realize they were overlooking. "I have to go, if we have to survive, then I have to go." She whispered as she stood in front of her twin brother. They knew it had to be done, so that attention will be focused on her because they'd assume they'd both escaped from this realm due to the natural assumption that they can't be apart from each other "You cannot die, I beg of you." Frost said wrapping his arms round her frail frame. Once they'd disengaged from the hug, her eyes hardened from what was to come.
