A.K Gonzales, also known as Trinikid, blogger and the author of Folks of Lore and The Paperbag Trail returns with an achingly beautiful, wildly suspenseful novel about a young writer seeking inspiration to accomplish the daunting task of finding the right words to finish his first book.

Ronald Baker finds himself unable to get over his unrelenting writer's block and coffee addiction. No matter how many times he tries he is unable to finish a book. But along his journey, he finds inspiration from the most unlikely source; an abused 18-year-old girl named Kate Warren.

She helps him finish his book and introduces him to something that he has never experienced before. However, his newfound inspiration seems to have been more than he had bargained for as he finds himself in the midst of tragedy and despair which makes him wonder if finishing his first book was even worth it in the end. Lost For Words was set both in Washington D.C and Trinidad and Tobago, taking the reader on an adventure across the world and on a roller coaster ride of emotions.

Emma Langley is a successful romance novelist who is creatively blocked. When she receives a brochure about Whispering Shores, a coastal town that invites artists to stay in a lighthouse keeper's cottage, she decides to take a chance and visit. Once there, Emma discovers a hidden journal containing decades-old love letters that belong to past residents of the town. As she unravels the stories behind these letters, Emma meets Daniel Quinn, the reclusive lighthouse keeper. Through her interactions with Daniel and the townsfolk, Emma learns about the intertwined lives of past lovers, James and Lily, and uncovers a poignant love story from Daniel's own past. The letters reveal deep emotional connections and unfulfilled desires, mirroring her own struggles and creative block. Emma's immersion in the town's life and history inspires her to write again, leading to the creation of a new novel based on the letters she discovered. Her book's success brings her a sense of fulfillment, and she finds herself drawn to Daniel. Despite initial hesitations due to past heartbreaks, their relationship deepens, culminating in a heartfelt proposal from Daniel during the town's fall festival. In the end, Emma and Daniel build a life together in Whispering Shores, where Emma's new book and their growing family symbolize a beautiful new beginning. The lighthouse, a central motif in their story, stands as a testament to their journey of love, healing, and new beginnings. It's a story filled with romance, personal growth, and the magic of small-town life, blending the charm of a coastal setting with deep emotional connections.

Elena Cruz, a 29-year-old Filipina, works as a caregiver in Madrid. She sends most of her earnings back home to support her younger siblings' studies in the Philippines. Life in Spain is not easy-long hours, homesickness, and the weight of responsibility-but she keeps going because she knows her family depends on her. One morning, while rushing to her second part-time job at a small café near Puerta del Sol, she collides with a man carrying a stack of books. Papers scatter everywhere. That man is Alejandro Ruiz, a Spanish freelance journalist who writes about migrant lives in Europe. Alejandro apologizes and insists on buying her coffee as a way of making up for the accident. From that small encounter, their worlds begin to overlap-her grounded, practical outlook and his free-spirited, idealistic nature. Elena tries to resist at first; she cannot afford distractions, not when bills and remittances come first. But Alejandro admires her resilience and begins to show her a side of Madrid she never allowed herself to enjoy-the hidden gardens, free art exhibits, quiet streets glowing under the lamplight. As their bond grows, Elena faces a choice: • Will she allow herself to love, even if she fears it might conflict with her responsibilities? • Or will she guard her heart, believing that sacrifice and survival must always come before happiness? The story could unfold with cultural clashes, tender moments over café con leche, and a deep exploration of what it means to build a life in a foreign land while carrying both duty and desire.

Following in her father's footsteps seemed like the right thing to do to make her parents proud. There's only one problem, she doesn't actually want to be an accountant for the rest of her life. In fact, her brother telling her to drop out seemed like the best thing to have ever happened to her. Maybe for the first time, she'll finally take a leap of faith and question everything she thought she knew about herself.
