When the Mushroom Kingdom is suddenly attacked by a terrifying new enemy that threatens to swallow the universe whole, the meme guardians and their friends must leave their home universe accompanied by new faces. Some taken by force, one by her own accord. But, who could guard the universe when the guardians are away?
All but left for dead and haunted by a debilitating wound, Tari is left to pick up the pieces of her broken world, her broken friendships, and most importantly, her broken self.
