I was motioned down onto the field after an injury Gavi sustained. I made sure to hide my face the best I could once I got down there to his side. My heart was racing and felt as if it'd jump out of my chest.
"I'm here.. I'm here." I try and whisper as I grab his hand. As soon as I feel his hand touch mine, I feel him pull away.
"Don't put your job on the line for me." He some how spoke through the pain. I stood up, and walked out of the stadium.
