Felt Like Love

"I knew what love felt like right after I met you, but I forgot its meaning the second you left me that day" I said with pure anger.
I tried to look for the answers I needed by observing his facial expression.

But I was clueless at this point.

I didn't know what he was thinking or feeling at that moment.

He stood a bit further away from me as if to indicate that he didn't want to be close to me.

I knew he had someone new, but I was no stranger.

He didn't dare look me in the eyes.

Suddenly, I understood his facial expression. He was at a loss for words because he knew that every fucking thing I said was true.

I knew he had no response because he was goddamn aware that I went through hell after he left me.

I looked at him closely and then it hit me, he didn't care.

Neither did I because I had to make one thing clear before leaving.

"You have always walked away from me. When I needed you and when I didn't. You always expected me to stop you from leaving"I paused, I spoke with anger and courage, not fear like I used to.

"Not anymore" I roared, "From today onwards, only I have the right to walk away. You DO NOT have the right to walk away anymore" I grabbed my necklace from his hand, turned around, and walked off.

I knew right then, I would never see him like I used to, he was Dead to me now.
