Santa's Son

Adeline- a tall, brunette girl with glasses and dark green eyes- is a lonely, 22 year old who just graduated from the nearest community college with a master's degree in arts.
Art was the only thing that kept her alive these days.
Especially with Christmas approaching, her least favorite holiday.
See, Adeline never really had a family to spend it with, her parents left as soon as she was born, and she was sent to an orphanage. There, she was adopted by a man and woman who only adopted her because of the publicity. They never treated her like their own, never bought her things, let alone Christmas gifts.
Jack, on the other hand, is a 25-year-old boy with fluffy blonde hair and inviting blue eyes. He grew up in the North Pole- well, after all, he IS the son of the one and only Santa Claus. Well... not the only one. His perfect brother, John- always (and annoyingly) combed black hair, casual brown eyes, and always wearing a suit (figures)- is everything a father could ask for. He goes with Santa every Christmas, and does everything Santa asks.
Great brother, right?
Not to Jack.
To Jack, John is just a constant reminder of everything his father wants him to be- and everything he wishes he could be.
For years, Santa has tried to get Jack to go with him just for one Christmas, but Jack isn't having it. Finally, when Santa tells his son about this girl who is in desperate need of help, Jack is finally convinced, and he (hesitantly) goes with his father.
So when a random (kind of cute) boy shows up to Adeline's house on Christmas Eve and tells her that he is (the one and only) Santa's son, and he's on a mission, she is met with the intriguing choice of going to the North Pole to prove that Christmas really is a time for celebrating.
Can Santa's son convince Adeline to accept Christmas for what it is, or will she forever be a loner?
