On mornings when he's not in the mood to ruin someone's day-or mess with that Monkey boy and the Dragon Girl-Red Son finds himself wandering the grand halls of the city museum. Within its marbled corridors, beneath towering ceilings and ancient echoes, he walks not as a prince of flame, but as a quiet observer. He listens to the tour guides recount tales of long-forgotten empires, their voices weaving through exhibits of relics and artifacts, each whispering stories older than memory.

He ascends the sweeping staircase, passing portraits of ancient emperors and solemn statues frozen in time, until he reaches a peculiar door. A library-within a museum. Strange, perhaps. But to him, it's a welcome oddity. A place where silence breathes, and knowledge waits on every shelf. Here, the fire demon takes his quiet reprieve, a book in one hand, hot coffee in the other, as he flips to the first page and lets the world fall away.

Lately, though, it's not just the books that draw him in.

Since the day he saw her-the librarian with eyes like quiet storms-his visits have grown more frequent. Not just to read, but to steal glances, to exchange a few words, to be near.

Fate, ever the mischievous puppeteer, seems intent on intertwining their paths. And Red Son, ever the willing fool in love, keeps returning-chasing those fleeting moments, those quiet chances-just to keep her within reach.
