Trapped inside the maze for what has been almost a month now, CJ has begun to grow used to the other boys, and gets along with everyone, including a certain blond boy.

Until suddenly, her world is turned shattered when Thomas arrives in the Glade- bringing forth a sinister revelation. It was not a mere chance to end up in the Maze; it was part of a conspiracy of something much, much worse.

Secrets are slowly unravelled as the Gladers become increasingly desperate for answers, and people begin turning on each other in a fight for the truth.

But some secrets are better left buried.

Newt x OC/Reader. All characters belong to the book series except for CJ. Feel free to imagine yourself in her place, I just like having someone to describe and base the story off of.

Also, I want to continue this story into the Scorch Trials and the Death Cure.

Disclaimer: This story is inspired by the movie adaptation of the book series, as I am still reading the books. Updates may be slow.
