Luz, a girl who went to camp but didn't change. The world around her became hostile and quite crude. The students at school bullied her more, her own mother deciding to take punishments to the next level..
All Luz has tried to do is be herself, but now she has changed, she cannot just be the loveable dorky girl she once was. She is now scared, terrified of the outside world. She is a girl who is stuck inside of her abusive shell and cannot get out. She ends up finding her way into the boiling isles.
This was a new life, a new chance given to her. Will she be able to survive in this world? Or will she be eaten alive or thrown back home with her violent mother..
(This is a rewritten story! The original is still my works, it is labeled as Lost Hope but now just has OLD VERSION in front of it! If you wanna go read it go ahead!!)

Luz Noceda was a troublemaker for sure. The Hispanic girl always got into fights with people over stupid things. It didn't help that she was failing all her classes except Physical Education. The girl was on her way to the principal's office to find out her punishment for getting involved in another fight when something crazy happened. Luz was going to be sent to another school! Not only was this school a boarding school, but it was also Hexside the most famous school in Connecticut. Luz tries to convince her mom to opt out of it, but her mom agrees with the principal's decision. Luz is forced to pack and leave two days before the second semester and live with her Mom's friend, Eda. On the way, she meets a few people and a minty-haired devil standing before her eyes. She finds herself intrigued by the girl and tries to get closer to her. Will Luz find friends and adjust to her new life at Hexside? Will she get close to the minty-haired girl? Or will she drown in her self-pity? Find out. WARNING. At 17 years old Luz decided to run from home she manage to go between realms and ended up on the Boiling Isles. When she decides to stay and help Eda, the most wanted witch on the Boiling Isles, her life turns upside down. She has to deal with various threats, from the deadly environment, and tyrannical government, to her own demons. After a few months, she finally managed to more or less stabilize her life, no matter the outside threats but everything changed as a new foe appeared in her life. How will she deal with the new problem? Will fighting your way through be enough?
