Hellu, so this is my first story I've decided to post. I got the idea from a friend who will probably read this (you know who you are and ily in the most heterosexual way) and I really don't want you to think I stole the idea from you *-* I'm sorry if it's a bit similar to one you have written but I've tried to change it as much as I could and I think it isn't anything like the one you wrote, so yeah. I feel guilty posting this lol but I've had it in my notes for a while, it's not fully completed but it will be soon ounce I can edit the ending and a few other parts. L Lawliet, worlds greatest detective and possibly the smartest person alive... can't talk. Well, he can, but only to those he's deeply connected with. Partially mute, he hides behind his screen and solves crimes anonymously. Speaking to taskforces with text to speech, and no face shown. Until he's pushed into a corner with a particularly tricky case, and ends up having to make his first face to face interaction. (y/n) shows up to the hotel room of the worlds greatest detective, thinking they'd see a well polished, wise old man. Instead they're met with a tired, young and rather huggable looking guy with eyebags holding a torn notebook page saying "I am L, and I can't talk" -- GNC READER. Basically all language for the reader is gender neutral, anyone can read! Non binary mfs rejoice. When the eventual lemon hits it'll be kinda alluded to an AFAB body (bc marketing to my main audience yo), but all pronouns are they/them and there's no descriptions of tiddies or anything.
