Alexander river-side or Alex a young man in his early 20's is at war with the hearts of 2 rulers of opposite kingdoms.
Alex is a herbal plant shop owner. he specializes in medicinal herbs. he runs the shop with his grandma pearl and her friend Gertrude also known as mama. they all live in the kingdom of the tree of life. A peaceful kingdom that is rarely ever at war they mostly sell products to the other kingdoms. except the dark forest kingdom as it's been banished from the other cause of the great war that happened 100 years ago with the king of light.

(I love y'all but I'm not putting my ace ass through that torture) If you have an idea for a cute date between characters, a friend group excursion, etc. please comment. A Face Made For Daylight
I've always had a deep love for writing, even when I was still finding my voice. This piece is a reflection of that early stage. It's purposely raw, imperfect, and, at times, unpolished. But the story is, in my humble opinion, the most beautiful narrative I've ever written. I'm fully aware of the grammatical missteps, the amateur structure, and the inconsistent formatting, but what it may lack in "perfect writing", I honestly believe it makes up for in heart. This was my first attempt at writing a novel, created during the stillness of the COVID lockdowns, a time when I was able to fully immerse myself in a story I deeply researched and completely lost myself in. It became less about perfection and more about the act of storytelling itself. I've grown as a writer since then, something that's more evident in my articles. Alex has been looking for a sign from the universe. A sign to tell him that he needs to keep fighting. To live on for his brother who died in a tragic car accident. When Alex stumbles across a man in town wearing a blindfold, holding a sign that says, 'You are not alone. If you need a talk or a hug. I am here.' He takes it upon himself to approach the stranger. Was this the sign he has been looking for? - River has been a mental health advocate for three years. With his own demons battled, he takes it upon himself to support others. More specifically strangers. He has always found peace in helping those who suffer in silence. When River is approached by a man who expresses his depressive tendencies, he decides to take the broken stranger for coffee, out of fear of what might happen if he lets him go. River tells him to offload, release all the sadness and frustration he has into someone who knows nothing about him. But when he leaves, River can't stop thinking about him. It's not until Alex comes back a few months later to thank him for listening when he needed help the most. Alex has a lot to thank for his signs from the universe.Complete
