In this AU Ponyboy was born a girl but wanted to be a boy. Her real name is Polly-bear but was called Pony a lot which is where she got the idea to be called Ponyboy. He decided he wanted to to be a a boy when he was 7 and told his parents at the age of 9 the first person to know was Soda.
