Every Thursday night for the past three years, loyal boyfriend Gabriel visits his longtime girlfriend, Mae, in the hospital. This Thursday isn't much different, that Is until Gabriel falls asleep, and wakes up to a completely different world. When fate brings Monica, a resilient nurse into his room, the two of them must navigate the dangerous new reality together. Relying on each other for safety, Gabriel and Monica grow closer, sharing resources, close calls and even secrets. As his feelings deepen, Gabriel must finally confront his past, and learn to let go.
